Their creativity and ingenuity dovetails perfectly with our closely linked supply chain, which tracks soybeans from a local cooperative marketing grain to CHS through crushing and refining to the food processor.
Oilseed processing is core to CHS success and continues to add value to every bushel of grain our owners produce. Each year, we process nearly 100 million bushels of soybeans and 21 million bushels of canola, refining them into a range of ingredients for foods, feeds and industrial uses.
Our partnerships include deep relationships and long-standing food processing joint ventures such as Ventura Foods, a leading maker of dressings, sauces, oils, shortenings and more; and Ardent Mills, America’s leading flour miller. Every day, these trusted partners expertly turn our owners’ soybeans, canola and wheat into branded products proudly served by restaurants, schools and other foodservice outlets and sold in grocery stores across the U.S.
The ability to anticipate and meet market needs is a key component of success for growers who welcome these consumer-driven opportunities. Their efforts are celebrated by customers around the world who want to know where their food is grown.
